exCHANGE FOR PEACE hosts Train the Trainers Workshop in Irbid, Jordan

From January 18th to 28th 2009, teachers and sport coaches from Palestinian and Jordan schools will work on their capacities to use sport as an instument for social integration, reconciliation and peace education. The workshop is the pilot program within the scope of the Jordan School Support Project run by exCHANGE FOR PEACE. A full documetation of the workshop will soon be available.

exCHANGE FOR PEACE signs 3-year funding contract with prestigious foundation
 
Peace Education and Social Integration for Refugee Children in Jordan 

Ecfp launches a life-cycle, children rights-based, gender sensitive development programme to enhance the level of education for Iraqi and Palestinian refugee children in Jordanian public schools. The project follows a twofold concept for peace education: to reduce tensions by expanding the availability of scarce resources and to foster mutual understanding by sharing experiences in sports. In the course of project ecfp will train more then 200 young leaders to become coaches for peace.

 
exCHANGE FOR PEACE acts as planning office to the “Swiss Kosovo Mediation Project Group”

The Swiss Kosovo Mediation Project is a group of representatives of Swiss NGOs that have developed a peacebuilding idea to benefit the people of Kosovo/a and the region and further to develop the ongoing exchanges between Kosovo/a and Switzerland on all levels.
